The Mindful Kreative team is thrilled to have Logan Garvey aboard as our communications intern this semester! A recent graduate from Point Park University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Marketing, Logan isn’t ready to put down the books just yet. In a few short months, she will be pursuing her master’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Logan is no stranger to the communications field. She previously worked as a news intern at Pittsburgh Media Partnership, and is also currently working as an editorial intern at CNN Underscored. Through these roles, Logan has developed a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task which makes her perfect for agency life!

Logan is an avid storyteller and has a passion for helping others. She feels lucky to have found an industry that combines the two.

“Communications is an exciting field as it combines both of these into one career,” Logan explains. “And there’s the element of creativity as well to make it even better!”

Storytelling is not just paving Logan’s career path, but it has been an important part of her life for a long time. Since she was little, Logan has been involved in theatre and the arts, including dance, which she has been practicing since the age of just three years old.

Logan is currently back home with her family in York, PA, but as a student in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh for the last four years, she took full advantage of all the city has to offer. Being walking distance from some of her most-loved hobbies like sports arenas, concert venues, and of course, all of the great coffee shops was her favorite perk. With previous experience as a barista, she’s a true coffee expert! A natural early bird, she loves to start the day watching the sunrise with a good cup of coffee in her hand.

All that caffeine gives her the push to tackle any challenge, and Logan has proved that already in her time with Mindful Kreative. Like her own personal motto says, “What’s meant for you will not pass you,” and we are so thankful Logan did not pass up this opportunity. We cannot wait to see where it leads her!
