Do you ever wonder who is working behind the scenes at Mindful Kreative? Every semester, we add a Communications Intern to the team and right now, we’re thrilled to be working with Kayla Carbert! Currently a senior at Robert Morris University, Kayla brings creative ideas, fine-tuned writing skills and impressive marketing experience from her previous internships and extensive involvement at her college. Kayla’s adaptive personality and motivated attitude has allowed her to fit right into the MK team and handle any task that comes her way!
“Kayla has all of the qualities that make for a great communications professional,” said Natalie Schlimmer, Account Manager. “She is creative, hard-working and a valuable team player.”
Kayla’s passion in life is writing and she feels lucky that as an intern at MK, she is able to continue to write and do what she loves, while also learning, growing and utilizing her skills in various areas.
“I wanted to find a way to incorporate what I love doing with my career,” said Kayla. “Communications allows for so much room with creativity among a sea of other skillsets, and that makes me excited to do the work that I do.”
Aside from working and writing, Kayla continues to tap into her creative side by experimenting with photography and calligraphy. She also loves spending time with her family and exploring her hometown of Pittsburgh as well as her favorite vacation spots. This summer, Kayla visited Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!
