During National Women’s Small Business Month, we want to recognize women entrepreneurs who took a leap of faith toward their passions, including Mindful Kreative’s very own, Melinda Kaiser.
Realizing that nothing good comes from staying in your comfort zone, it all started when Melinda took a chance on herself to follow a dream. In 2002, Melinda started Lowers Communications as a nod to her maiden name and her parents. For the first seven years, Melinda ran the agency entirely on her own.
By 2009, when Melinda was looking to take her business to the next level, she made her first hire: Client Services Director, Annie Lewis. Two years later, the agency was incorporated and officially became Mindful Kreative.
Mindful Kreative was certified as a Pennsylvania Small Business and a Pennsylvania Women’s Enterprise in 2012. Then, in 2017, Mindful Kreative became nationally certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE). The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping women-owned businesses thrive. This is not only a world-class certification, but it is also the most sought-after recognition of its kind.
Twenty-one years later, Mindful Kreative has transformed into a full-service marketing communications agency with a dedicated team who share the same passion: crafting outside-the-box solutions that take our clients to new heights.
