Over the past 20 years, Mindful Kreative has made its footprint in the marketing communications industry as a full-service, award-winning agency taking brands to new heights.

We knew the only proper way to celebrate a milestone like this would be in style. On December 7, 2022, we encouraged our clients, partners and friends to join us in playing hooky for the afternoon with a special screening of the classic film, Ferris Buller’s Day Off, at Row House Cinema in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.

While some may argue that no one can have as epic of a day as Ferris Bueller, we sure like to think we did! As our clients entered the theater, they were greeted with a photobooth to get their photos taken with the iconic black Ferris Bueller sunglasses. The photos were sent after the event as a surprise “sick day” memento.

As we all know, no movie is complete without snacks! We set up a snack bar stocked with nostalgic movie theatre treats for our attendees to enjoy during the film like nachos, popcorn, candy and Cracker Jacks.

Unfortunately, playing hooky does comes with consequences. After the credits rolled, our clients were sent to “detention” next door in Bierport’s Tap Room for happy hour. But not even detention can stop this party! While at Bierport, we had the opportunity to catch up with familiar faces while enjoying a few drinks and each other’s company.

We had the best day celebrating with those who give us the chance to do what we love every day. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this day a special one!

As Ferris Bueller wisely once said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” These last 20 years have gone by in the blink of an eye, but we’re more than eager to see what the next 20 will bring.
