Some team members make such a lasting impact that when they return, it feels like the story picks up right where it left off. That’s exactly how we feel welcoming Erin Carlin back to Mindful Kreative.

A born-and-raised Yinzer with a knack for navigating both communications challenges and the city’s many bridges and tunnels, Erin re-joins MK as an Account Director with extensive experience and a refreshingly human approach to her work. Her background covers public relations, media strategy, content development, corporate communications, and creative thinking to name a few of her many areas of expertise.

Most recently, she worked as Manager of Public Relations and Corporate Communications for St. Clair Health, where she guided media outreach and served as a central resource for both internal and external communications. As the go-to brand storyteller, she became the person teams turned to when messages needed to be shaped clearly and shared well.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Through roles at 9Rooftops (formerly MARC USA) and the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Marathon (P3R), Erin sharpened her ability to blend strategy with execution to deliver communications that resonate with various audiences.

At 9Rooftops, she planned and executed media relations, social media, and influencer marketing activities as part of integrated PR campaigns for a diverse roster of regional and national clients. Earlier in her career, with P3R, Erin supported high-profile endurance events by securing media placements, coordinating press events, and developing content across digital and traditional channels.

And, of course, longtime MK supporters may remember Erin from her earlier years on our team, where she contributed to award-winning work for clients including Guardian Storage and Mainstay. In many ways, this homecoming feels like a full-circle moment for this versatile communicator who has honed her skills at uncovering a story and helping clients see the bigger picture.

Erin describes herself as authentic, driven, and thoughtful. Those qualities show up in her work and in the way she spends her time. She enjoys the excitement of catching a Broadway show in downtown Pittsburgh but is just as content spending a quiet evening at home with a good book and her cats, Fozzie and Gonzo. You can also find her hitting the lanes as part of a local bowling league, a hobby she’s quickly grown to love, or planning her next travel adventure with hopes of one day visiting all 50 states.

Erin certainly has no shortage of fun facts. Believe it or not, she appeared as an extra in the football scene of “The Dark Knight Rises.” She’s also a morning person who, ironically, hates getting out of bed, and a self-proclaimed Bravo-holic who knows her Real Housewives lore better than most.

As Erin enters what she calls her “reinvention era,” she’s channeling everything she’s learned into making this next chapter—both professionally and personally—her best yet. We’re thrilled to welcome her back to the MK team
