DESCRIPTION:
Mindful Kreative, Inc., a full service creative and strategic communications agency recognized for its award-winning work, is seeking a graphic design intern for the Spring 2021 semester.
Candidate should expect to build real-world graphic design experience by assisting with the development and design of graphics, logos, collateral and a variety of other creative projects for multiple clients.
It is essential that applicants have excellent design skills, are able to think creatively and “outside the box,” and can attend to small details.
The position is a work from home position, so candidate must be self-motivated and accountable. The ideal candidate will have the ability to attend agency and client meetings as needed in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Completed or are pursuing a four-year graphic design or media arts degree (completed at least junior year of four-year program)
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite programs, particularly InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
- Self-starting, able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A working computer with Internet capabilities and access to Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Available a minimum of 16-20 hours per week
