DESCRIPTION:
Mindful Kreative, Inc., a full service creative and strategic communications agency recognized for its award-winning work, is seeking a communications intern for the Spring 2021 semester. The ideal candidate would come to MK with experience in social media marketing and a strong writing skillset.
Candidate should be ready to apply what they’ve learned in PR/marketing courses and prior internships to real-world client work in a variety of industries, including non-profit, healthcare and internal communications.
It is essential that applicants have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are able to think creatively and “outside the box,” and can attend to small details.
The position is a work from home position, so candidate must be self-motivated and accountable. The ideal candidate will have the ability to attend agency and client meetings as needed in the Pittsburgh and surrounding area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Completed or are pursuing a four-year communications or journalism degree
(must have completed at least junior year of four-year program) - Excellent verbal and written communications
- A strong interest in research and social media marketing
- Self-starting, able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A working computer with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet capabilities
- Available a minimum of 16-24 hours per week
Preferred
- Pursuing a graduate degree in communications or another related field
