We’re excited to welcome Emily Finnegan to the Mindful Kreative team as our Communications Intern this semester! Emily is a student at the University of Pittsburgh where she majors in English writing and communication rhetoric with a minor in English literature.
Emily comes to MK with a variety of experience, including her role as a copywriting intern at LaLew Public Relations, LLC and an intern turned literary agent at Harvey Klinger Literary Agency – both opportunities that have strengthened her writing skills and deepened her understanding of the literary world.
She stays busy on campus, too! Emily is the Vice President of Operations for Kappa Kappa Gamma, an active member of Sigma Tau Delta, and an Editing Committee Member at Studio 412. She’s even involved in the English Composition Department, having earned recognition for her award-winning writing!
Guided by the advice to “always remain a student of your craft,” Emily approaches every endeavor with a commitment to growth and learning.
As a true team player, Emily understands the value of collaboration and efficient communication – both skills she’s eager to bring to our clients’ projects this semester.
“The most essential professional skills are clear communication and collaboration,” said Emily. “I believe that the best work is done when everyone in a team communicates promptly and clearly.”
As a New Jersey native, Emily puts a new meaning to home “sweet” home by working as a project manager and cookie decorator for Mimi’s Cookies. When she’s home, she loves to spend time with her family and visit her favorite spot – the Jersey Shore.
In her free time, you can find Emily reading a good book, cooking, baking, and catching up with friends – always with an iced coffee in hand!
As she approaches graduation, Emily labels this chapter of her life as “Ends and Beginnings.” We’re sure glad to share this new beginning with her as she dives into her final internship!
